10 New Directions For WWE After SummerSlam 2018
8. KO Turning Babyface?
What Happened At SummerSlam: KO was squashed flat by a rampaging Braun Strowman in less than two minutes.
Where It's Going: The abuse Owens took in Brooklyn won't go unnoticed by the fans. Bumps like the one he took off a cage at Extreme Rules were followed up by a Chokeslam onto the entrance ramp and a few massive shoulder blocks from Braun that sent him flying helplessly.
Could it be that WWE will now try something different with KO and use fan sympathy to turn him into a proper babyface for the first time in his company career? It's possible, and that may be the one silver lining to his SummerSlam hammering at the hands of someone else Raw's writers have grand plans for.
Owens has always been liked by hardcore fans, and he's capable of delivering some hot, passionate promos when the time calls for it. He's reliable in-ring too, and could easily tweak his style to play face for the rest of the year.
Bring it on.
