10 New Directions For WWE After The 2023 Draft

4. Bray Wyatt’s Next Chapter

A mystery illness curtailed WWE's plans for Bray Wyatt vs. Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39. Being brutally honest, nobody missed that match on the weekender. It would've been more exhibition than red-hot feud anyway, and nothing about it screamed "must see" from minute one.

Bray hasn't been seen on TV since late-February, and they do say absence makes the heart grow fonder. SmackDown is certainly a weaker show without his obvious star power, although some may argue that many of his cryptic, almost-lyrical promos amount to little more than tongue-twisting babble anyway.

Thats valid, but he's still a big name on WWE's roster.

Wyatt returning to the mix will always pique interest amongst fans. The fun thing here will be finding out if the promotion fancies putting a bow on that 'Uncle Howdy' business, or if they fancy going in a new direction with Bray. His character is malleable enough to survive whatever comes his way.
