10 New Directions For WWE After WrestleMania 34

2. Kurt Angle Being Fired As Raw GM

Seeing Kurt Angle team with Ronda Rousey, take down Stephanie McMahon for a quick Ankle Lock and celebrate a win at WrestleMania 34 was preferable to the alternative; before being installed as Rousey's partner, Angle looked destined to play a minor role in a proposed Seth Rollins vs. Jason Jordan match.

That, along with his vapid role as Raw General Manager, would have come as a gross disappointment to long time fans.

The next logical step in Kurt's WWE career is removing him from the bland GM position so he can wrestle occasional box office stunners against everyone from Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins to AJ Styles and Roman Reigns. That's where fans want to see Angle: inside the ring.

His actions at 'Mania suggest he'll be stripped of his GM powers by a vindictive Steph on Raw and be forced to fight for his career in WWE anyway. That's when Daniel Bryan could step in and offer Kurt solace on SmackDown.

Get him out of a suit and into the ring more often, creative.
