10 New Tag Teams WWE Needs To Create

9. Tony Nese & Drew Gulak

Speaking of which, why not capitalise on Drew Gulak's dorky, anti-Cruiserweight gimmick and give him Tony Nese as backup? That alignment makes more sense than having the strait-laced Gulak attempt to curry favour with the colourful Enzo Amore, if nothing else. Also, it gives Nese a platform on which to build.

Nese has a good physique and can work when given the chance. He's just missing a gimmick, something for fans to latch onto. Gulak's 'No Fly Zone' character may feel like a watered-down version of Right To Censor at times, but it's more than what Nese has right now. Ergo, they could work as a package. It's worth a try.

Neither man is doing much on 205 Live, and they're certainly not coming close to main roster success. Perhaps being a team could change their fortunes somewhat. If Nese adopts Gulak's gimmick and begins chastising fans for cheering high flyers, then they could have an automatic feud with the Gran Metalik/Sin Cara combo.
