10 Next Steps For Brock Lesnar After WWE SummerSlam 2016

8. Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns

Love it or hate it, Roman Reigns is one of very few men on the WWE roster with whom Lesnar has unfinished business.

The last time these two met in one-on-one action was the main event of WrestleMania 31. There, Lesnar was arguably well on his way to retaining his WWE Championship. Of course, interference from a certain Mr. Money in the Bank would change that, but ultimately it was Reigns who knocked Lesnar out of the ring in the moments that preceded Rollins' victory.

So in many ways, Reigns is one of the main reasons that Lesnar lost his championship.

Of course, based on that kind of history you’d probably need some kind of World Championship involved in a subsequent rematch. That could very easily be achieved by having Reigns win the vacant Universal title. Plus, you could still run the suspension angle for the time being, then have Steph bring Lesnar back in a last-chance attempt to dethrone Reigns as champion.

It may not be the most popular direction, but it makes sense in a number of ways.
