10 Non-Wrestlers AEW Should Sign
1. Goldust
Role: Producer
Back to reality for a second, if there's one man AEW really need to go out of their way to get in the coming weeks, it's Goldust. Take everything I've just said about The Undertaker - his enduring appeal, his decades of experience, his understanding of the business - and slather it in gold paint. The man is arguably one of the most under-appreciated talents in the entire industry and it's surely a matter of time before he joins his brother in changing the face of it.
If WWE have any class at all they'd allow the 49 year old a swansong in-ring programme, let him put someone over on his way out, and then make a fuss about him retiring from the ring. Then, with a Hall of Fame ring securely around his finger, give him their blessing to move behind the curtain at AEW. I can't see it though, as this is, after all, business.
He's already spoken about it openly, and how he sees it as a good thing for both fans and WWE, but getting from there to leaving one for the other is still quite the leap. Regardless, Dustin Runnels has forgotten more about wrestling than most people ever know; if AEW can get him, they absolutely should.
