10 Notable Wrestlers WWE Didn't Book For WrestleMania

2. Matt Hardy (WrestleMania 20)

WrestleMania 20 featured no less than 50 performers across 12 matches. That total included two Tag Team title matches with eight wrestlers each, a ten-man Cruiserweight gauntlet, and a three-on-two handicap match. Yet, a number of reputable talents were left off of the show entirely, one of which was a man that had been a featured player for much of 2002-03. Hardy brought his popular 'Version 1.0' persona over to Raw in the fall of 2003, where it lacked the smarm-and-charm of his SmackDown run. He floated around the brand aimlessly until taking part in a bizarre feud with Kane in the summer of 2004. While the Cruiserweight title was SmackDown-exclusive, couldn't you have shoehorned Hardy (and The Hurricane for that matter) into the gauntlet for a deserved payday?
