Story: When Hulk Hogan had his 61st birthday celebration on Raw in August, Brock Lesnar showed up to crash the party. Lesnar grabbed the microphone and said: "Party's over, grandpa." That was it. It was just a heel talking trash. Days later, Hogan talked to TMZ in a story that we covered and had this to say about Lesnar: Brock, I havent done anything to get in your way, but if you keep throwing my name around Im gonna get in your way. You cant say that stuff in front of my wife and kids. Its not cool, brother. I know this is all entertainmentwere supposed to have fun with it, but when start throwing my name around, with my wife and my kids, its crossing the line. What did Lesnar even say about his wife and kids? Nothing. He called him grandpa meaning he's old. Hogan's not even a grandpa. His kids are in their 20s. Why People Believe It: Because there could be legitimacy to it. Hogan hasn't interacted with Lesnar much aside from putting him over clean on Smackdown in 2002. They could have heat that the public doesn't know about. Should We Believe It: No. This is typical Hogan BS where he's trying to work some sort of angle even though he's 61 years old and is not going to have a match with Lesnar. Hogan's comments to TMZ were a total work, yet this was a story that was picked up as legitimate news because people are unaware that Hogan has been doing this kind of thing for decades now. As a side note, Lesnar is already a step-grandfather even though he's only 37 years old. His wife Sable is older than him, she has a daughter in her early 20s and when her daughter had her child, it meant that Lesnar became a step-grandpa through his marriage to her.
