2. He Had Heat With Triple H After Feuding With Chyna

Story: Jericho was put in a tough spot soon after he showed up in WWE in August 1999. During his first few months, he had earned a bad reputation as somebody that worked stiff. The style in WCW was more physical, so when he came to WWE he was disliked for being too aggressive in the ring. He was just trying to fit in. Three months into his career, he was put into a feud with Chyna over the Intercontinental Title. This was around the time when Chyna started wrestling regularly, so the fans were used to it although a lot of wrestlers didn't like it. She was big for a woman, but it's not like she was bigger than most of the guys. Despite that, guys had to sell for her as if she was as big as them and Jericho was uncomfortable with it. Jericho has told a story that he was being too soft with her, so Vince McMahon told him to be more aggressive. He ended up giving Chyna a black eye when he was too aggressive and that got him in trouble with Vince and Triple H, who was dating Chyna at the time. Why People Believe It: It was totally different from the kind of wrestlers that he was used to working with. It didn't mean that Chyna was a bad person. It was just a tough spot for Chris. Should We Believe It: Yeah it's true that he hated the experience. They ended up working together for three consecutive PPVs. Jericho had massive heat with Triple H because of it and he really started to question if he belonged in WWE.
