8. His Feud With Shawn Michaels In 2008 Was Only Meant To Last One Month
Story: The best feud of Jericho's career was in 2008 against Shawn Michaels. It started with Jericho turning heel because he was sick of the way people loved Michaels, so Jericho tossed him into the Jeritron in a memorable moment that set up the feud. According to a story told by Jericho in his latest book, they were only supposed to have one PPV match, which was at Judgment Day 2008 that Michaels won. They ended up having matches at The Bash, then they did a major storyline at SummerSlam, then they had another match at Unforgiven and the final match at No Mercy 2008 for the World Title. In addition to those, they had a big match at a Raw in England too. Is he telling the truth or just telling some story to make it all sound more interesting? That's up for us to decide. Why People Believe It: We know that WWE changes plans all the time, so it's certainly possible that's what happened with this feud. Should We Believe It: Yes because it seems like a legit story. It's one of those things that likely went better than management hoped after the first match, so WWE decided to keep the feud going. It was the right move.
