10 NXT Black & Gold Stars Triple H Built (... And Vince McMahon DESTROYED!)
6. Tyler Breeze
Tyler Breeze was one of those names on everyone's lips for a while as evidence that WWE's developmental system was working. A solid start in FCW led to one of NXT's strongest first characters with the selfie-stick wielding narcissist leaving his mark on the promotion.
It goes to show not only the trust Triple H had in Breeze but also his placement on the card that he was the worker approved to go toe-to-toe with Jushin Thunder Liger. The Japanese cruiserweight legend had two matches in WWE in his career, and one of them was against Prince Pretty.
Not long after this, Breeze headed to the main roster and it became apparent very quickly that Vince didn't really care for him in the same way Papa H did. Breeze had his own little red-roped seating area ringside for a couple of weeks where he sat and cast judgement alongside his new valet Summer Rae, which honestly were promising ideas.
And then he lost his debut match against Ambrose, went on to lose his debut feud against Ziggler, dropped Summer Rae and immediately went into the dreaded "losing streak" gimmick.
Breeze found his footing here and there with the likes of the goofy brilliance that was the tag team Breezango, but that wound up being another example of untapped potential when it trailed off.
