10 NXT Call Ups To WWE Main Roster – 5 We Will See And 5 We Won’t
3. WILL - Keith Lee
Can we all just admire the man that is Keith Lee.
Appearing in the crowd at TakeOver: Chicago II, Lee looked like a million bucks. With a smug smile, he took in his surroundings, clearly getting used to the large crowd that he would eventually be performing in front of weekly.
It can be argued that there is no greater big man in wrestling today, than the Limitless one himself. Combining heavyweight strength with the agility of a cruiserweight, Lee won over the WWE fans immediately. He was undoubtedly the breakout star in the 2019 men’s Survivor Series Elimination Tag. Watching the big man run through the stars of the main roster and standing up to Roman Reigns was thrilling. A star was born.
Soon after, he won the North American Championship, elevating the title even further with his storied trilogy with Dominik Dijakovic. Carrying the title into Royal Rumble weekend, Houston was electrified as his music boomed through the speakers, he strolled down the ramp and faced off with Brock Lesnar. Brock made Lee look like dynamite by actually bumping for once and sold the big man as one of the only credible threats to the Beast's Rumble campaign.
Still currently the North American champion, Lee is riding a huge wave of momentum. Vince McMahon is probably counting down the days until he can steal Lee away from Full Sail and put him on full display on Raw or SmackDown.
