With Asuka currently struggling for viable competition to her NXT women's championship following the departure of the Four Horsewomen to the main roster, the NXT brass came up with a novel solution to the problem at TakeOver: Toronto last month when Mickie James returned to challenge the champ.

That return went down a storm with the NXT crowd and while the likes of Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Liv Morgan and Nikki Cross gain more experience and work their way up to Asuka's level, a similar tactic from Triple H and co- for TakeOver: San Antonio would work a treat.

And if they're going to bring in another former WWE women's champ to challenge 'The Empress of Tomorrow', there's no better choice than Gail Kim. Renowned as one of the best female workers in America for the past decade or more, Kim would be a phenomenal choice for a one-shot deal against the NXT women's champ and it'd likely give us an early Match of the Year candidate.
