10 NXT Wrestlers Who Need A Spot In WWE Money In The Bank

2. Samoa Joe

All of the rumblings and rumors proved true when Samoa Joe interrupted the massacre between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable in May. The fans waited on the edges of their seats for Owens and Joe to square off, but Owens disengaged himself from the situation. Since then, Joe hasn't been back on NXT, but that's because he still had a contract with ROH. The former TNA star wisely ducked out of that failing promotion. One of the most decorated and lauded indie wrestlers of all time, Joe has the honor of having defeated opponents that challenged for his ROH World Championship for 21 consecutive months. He's also appeared in Pro Wrestling Noah, PWG, the Puerto Rican International Wrestling Association, and Mexican Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion. The question necessarily isn't what can Joe do in NXT and WWE, but rather, what can't he do? WWE has had a long affinity for Samoan wrestlers like The Rock, The Usos, and Roman Reigns, and although Joe has a separate bloodline, he could really clean house at this month's Money in the Bank.
