6. Hideo Itami For Heath Slater
Poor Heath Slater. He has never truly made it out of the lower card hole he sank into post-Nexus. At least he can claim to be a survivor, outlasting Michael Tarver (remember him?), Justin Gabriel, David Otunga (who is still employed but barely wrestles), and Skip Sheffield (whatever happened to that guy?). Thats a testament to his skills at selling, because if anybody knows how to take an ass-kicking, its Heath Slater. However,
taking an ass-kicking shouldnt be enough to keep a main roster spot.
Delivering an ass-kicking is much more important, and thats what Hideo Itami (the former KENTA) is great at. Of all the independent wrestlers that WWE signed to developmental contracts last year, Itami needs the most seasoning because he needs to get a better handle on the English language (and is working with Funaki to do so). His in-ring ability is without question, as hes been ready for the main roster in that department since he signed on the dotted line.
