10 Obscure WWE Royal Rumble Records

8. Most Eliminations In Winning Rumbles

Recordholder: Steve Austin, 20

To set this record, you’ve got to assume that a wrestler has won more than one Royal Rumble. It would be virtually impossible to set this record winning just one.

So it should be no surprise that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin holds this record, being the only person to win three Rumbles. However, what might surprise you is that Austin would have set this record even if you only took his first two wins into account: 1997 (10) and 1998 (7).

Shawn Michaels came closest, tossing 8 men in each of his two wins. Hulk Hogan eliminated 13 between his two wins in 1990 and 1991. And of course, Braun Strowman tossed 13 en route to winning the 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble.
