10 Old School Wresting Gimmicks That Need To Return

This one's sort of already happening too, as it happens.

During her time in NXT, Bianca Belair confirmed herself as 'The EST' by rapidly backing up her bluster with a series of tremendous performances that marked her as a star-in-the-making. All actions and words, she was the ideal combination to possibly dethrone the unstoppable Shayna Baszler before the brand decide to double down on the 'Queen Of Spades' for several more months.

After finally getting one last shot at the gold in February 2020, Belair arrived on the main roster in a largely forgotten WrestleMania cameo before falling into the Raw midcard vortex with similar speed to her NXT ascension. Thankfully, post-Draft, she's been rebooted.

She's the fast-est, strong-est and quick-est, and fortunately for her you can't put "est" on the end of "worst" regardless of what sh*t WWE might throw her way. Well, unless you're a toddler, but WWE can't secure younger viewers for love nor money at the moment. To build from these Mr Perfect-adjacent vignettes, hopefully the brilliant Belair will go on an unbeaten streak that at least gets her to WrestleMania season a contender for one of the company's top titles.
