10 Old School Wresting Gimmicks That Need To Return

4. WWE-Branded Psychopath

...that starts by destroying The Fiend.

Or not really, (the backlash wouldn't be worth the hot start the push would get) but ultimately two of them cannot exist within the same orbit. A character like this would be best served on a Wednesday Night anyway. A psychopath such as the original incarnation of Mankind was cut from the creative cloth of a Vince McMahon that simply doesn't exist anymore.

But, flippancy aside, McMahon needs to unlock whatever corner of his brain came up with the first Mick Foley persona, or even the one that realised Sycho Sid could do the job justice even with a stupid spelling. Bray Wyatt's 2019 upgrade carried the same weight of threat for precisely one match - a criminal indictment on their process - before gradually being blunted for the good of the merch money and just about f*ck all else.

It's painfully apparent how much the jig is up on getting a new Undertaker, but at least provide some hope that there might one day be a force as strong as his greatest rival.
