10 Oldest World Champions In Wrestling History

1. Vince McMahon - 61 Years, 248 Days

Date: April 29th, 2007 Event: Backlash Age Of Champion: 61 years, 248 days When you're the boss, you're pretty much free to do whatever you want. In 2007, Vince McMahon decided to make himself the ECW Champion. Many feel it was his attempt to bury the brand, nearly five months after the December To Dismember debacle. ECW Champion, Bobby Lashley, was defending the title against Umaga, Vince and Shane McMahon in a three-on-one Handicap Match, and when Vince pinned Lashley, you could almost feel the wind being taken out of the sails of ECW fans. They felt disrespected. They felt like Vince had personally slapped each and every one of them in the face, not to mention what they felt he was doing to the legacy of ECW Champions like Taz, Shane Douglas, Raven, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer and the aforementioned Terry Funk. There is a very good possibility that this "record" will never be broken. Can you realistically imagine someone that is 62 years old, or even older, winning the WWE Title? For those of you making the expected joke, John Cena won't be 62 until 2039, just after WrestleMania 55, so good luck with that one.
