10 Out Of Touch Ideas Holding Back WWE

2. Secondary Championships Don't *Really* Matter

One thing that needs to happen immediately is that Ryback and Cesaro need to feud over the Intercontinental Championship. People love chanting for the Big Guy, love his comeback, and enjoy his finisher, too. This ideally means that Ryback is basically Jim 'The Anvil" Neidhard, and should be in a tag team with someone who can hold down the truly rigorous parts of technical wrestling required to really make a match great. Ideally, one should hope that someone like Solomon Crowe catches on quickly in NXT, as the idea of Crowe as a Crash Holly to Ryback's Hardcore Holly could solve a major issue in WWE at the present moment. Ryback in a tag with Curtis Axel was a great idea, just not with Curtis Axel. Ryback with an equally as intense miniature version of himself? Golden. The Intercontinental Championship deserves to be elevated via a year-long run for someone like Cesaro. Around the waist of Ryback, it anoints Ryback as the star he is, but not doing the thing that he's ideally best at doing.
