It’s never easy booking a David vs Goliath match. While everyone loves to witness a story where the smaller competitor overcomes all odds through sheer heart and determination and somehow manages to vanquish their monstrous foe, it’s difficult to do it in a way that’s believable. But that still doesn’t excuse the fact that WWE only appears to use one spot for switching the momentum over to the little guys.

That spot is the giant running at their smaller foe, missing, and then going shoulder first into either the post, or the steps, or the barricade, or something of that nature. Don’t get me wrong, it’s certainly a neat little spot. But come on now. In every match involving the likes of Braun Strowman, Nia Jax, or any of the other beefy folk, we see this same routine over and over and over again.

At this point, all it really does is make the big people look incredibly stupid. Surely they must have realized this is a flawed move and hence should have stopped doing it altogether.
