10 Outrageous Attitude Moments You Won't Believe WWE Got Away With

7. The Ministry Kidnaps and Crucifies Stephanie

This has not been a fun article for Stephanie McMahon fans, because for some reason poor Stephanie just kept getting herself involved in some pretty bad situations during the Attitude Era. In one of her earliest wrestling show appearances, she found herself the victim of The Ministry€™s cult actions; The Undertaker as head of The Ministry had been playing mind games with Vince and was willing to do whatever it took in order for Vince to meet his demands. When Vince would try to resist Undertaker€™s actions, the dead man would go after his children, and particularly Stephanie. He even went so far as to get a large metal structure in the shape of The Ministry€™s logo and have Stephanie tied to it before aising her up. Thankfully Steve Austin was there to make the save and keep The Ministry back, but it€™s still amazing that WWE would attempt to do something that could have been misconstrued as being sacrilegious. It was a very dark and frightening moment of television that made viewers not only want to see more, but want to see just how far WWE was willing to go when it came to pushing the envelope on risky televised content.
