10 Outrageous WWE Experiments That Failed
6. Gene Snitsky Is A Baby-Killing Maniac With A Foot Fetish
Standing around 6ft 8 inches tall and sporting a thick, muscular frame, Gene Snitsky should have been a dream for WWE. Vince McMahon had a track record of promoting men exactly like Snitsky long before he came down the line, but he was never portrayed as anything more than a complete buffoon.
Instead of coming across like a vicious, threatening heel, Snitsky was consistently booked to look foolish and cartoon-like. His involvement in the onscreen romance angle between Lita and Kane was dreadfully done, especially when Gene apparently caused Lita to suffer a miscarriage whilst pregnant.
His catchphrase then became 'It Wasn't My Fault', after he claimed he wasn't to blame for the baby-related mishap.
Making things even more out there, Snitsky later developed a foot fetish. On television, he lusted after the feet and toes of various WWE Divas, again interacting with Lita. The whole premise of his character was convoluted, and it really didn't help the guy get over.
Snitsky could have been a solid, upper card heel, but he was mired in silly gimmicks and personality traits that did nothing for him.
