10 Outrageous WWE Storylines That Could Happen If The Attitude Era Returned Today

3. Becky Lynch Becomes The Man (Literally)

Becky Lynch has been referring to herself as 'The Man' for a while now, but what if she decided to take the nickname literally, and actually become... a man?

Don't believe the WWE would touch transgender angles? Guess again! It's been said Dustin Rhodes was seriously contemplating having breast implants to add to the absurdity of the Goldust character back in the nineties, and Mark Henry (him again) once hooked up with what he thought was a woman backstage, only to stumble across a penis.

Therefore, it's almost a no brainer, if a woman was known as 'The Man' in the Attitude era, it would have been taken to its most extreme possible outcome. While 'The Lass Kicker' wouldn't be forced to actually undergo surgery, she could identify, dress, and style herself as a man, even trying her hand at competing in the men's division. Sports entertainment is one field where women can take on men fairly after all, with the late Chyna being a former Intercontinental champion. Then there's the several females who have held the hardcore and 24/7 championships.

This could end up being either empowering or a major face-palm, depending on the execution. It could give AEW some competition in the gender choice department as well, as they currently have an actual transgender competitor active in their women's division - which is more logical than forcing the agenda, as would be the case here.
