It was an actual finish away from being perfect in our timeline, but the one somewhere in another galaxy that actually provided a clear winner in the Mind Games epic between Shawn Michaels and Mankind likely dodged Sweet Chin Music/Mandible Claw conclusion.

'HBK' surviving the deadly hold was just part of him pushing back the Challenger's psychopathy at large. Furthermore, Shawn's own fury resulted in him going above and beyond his regular arsenal to push back the very real threat of WWE's newest scariest forced. Peppered potatoes replaced Michaels' typically pretty punches in a match more grit than glitz that reached its apex as the pair went violently sailing through the ringside announce table.

Chaos consumed the final five minutes as the company had no intention of having either guy take a loss midway through feuds with other wrestlers. Run-ins from Vader, Sid and The Undertaker obscured a meek disqualification victory for Michaels but didn't dull the bulk of the brutal bliss that came before it.
