10 Overlooked Positives From WrestleMania 32
2. The Show Wasn't As Predictable As It Seemed
The overwhelming problem with WrestleMania 32 was the scatterbrain and downright baffling booking which blighted almost every single match. We had the sloppy and out-of-shape Chris Jericho besting AJ Styles to put the TNA alumni in his place. There was The Undertaker dismissing Shane McMahon in what was ultimately a curiously straight contest devoid of the expected run-ins and external drama the preceding storyline suggested, as all the implications riding on the bout were oddly ignored. And though a worthy champion, Charlotte retained her women's title in defiance of all sensible logic suggesting Sasha Banks, endorsed by cousin Snoop Dogg, would capture the belt. There sure were some head-scratchers.
Ironically, though many of these decisions left the audience mystified, they contributed to a card that was - other than Roman Reigns defeat of Triple-H - entirely unpredictable. Whilst it tends to be a better idea to keep fans sweet at the biggest show of the year, at the very least the concatenation of disappointments kept viewers on the edge of their seats.
