Very few times in her main roster career has Paige had the opportunity to prove herself as a legitimate a**-kicker. Too often, she has been positioned as a cunning villain or an underdog babyface rather than the no-nonsense destroyer that her mother is and that she has shown flashes of on the independent scene.

There was one notable match on the 13 March 2014 episode of NXT in which Paige gave fans a taste of what she could do in that role. Her unlucky opponent, a young Sasha Banks still finding her feet in the 'Boss' character, controlled briefly but found herself tossed around the ring by the aggressive NXT women's champion.

At only eight minutes, including entrances, the match is little more than a squash for the British-born Superstar. It did not have to be anything else, though. At that point in time, Triple H and the NXT infrastructure was concerned with positioning her as one of the faces of the brand and this helped accomplish that.

Quick, painless (unless you are Banks), and effective.
