10 Painful Wrestling Receipts Caught On Camera

7. Chris Jericho Calms Shane McMahon Down

Shane McMahon is under the illusion that he's a hard man.

He's a good stuntman with the luxury of good equipment. He's got balls, but he's also delusional. His is a shortcut to appearing like a badass. Regrettably, for the pro wrestling fan - and indeed his opponents - he thinks the willingness to fall from a great height with a cushioned landing also makes him Floyd Mayweather Jr.

He is effectively Ken Shamrock without being hard in the first place.

His punches are legendarily awful. With the adrenaline pumping, he throws rapid combos and, when he doesn't miss completely, he lands them on his dance partners flush in the face, overwhelmed by his own tough guy aura in the moment.

Shane entered the ring during what is sadly now the traditional 5-on-5 RAW Vs. SmackDown elimination match in 2016, and in the worst-worked moment of a great match blasted Chris Jericho in the face. The punch looked like sh*t, but caught Jericho on the nose, who took a powder and kicked the steel steps in an attempt to alleviate his frustrations. Better an inanimate object than a fellow professional.

Shane was even more clumsy when Jericho re-entered the ring, which justified his response: he kicked Shane very hard in the face, twice, as Shane tended to his nose with a rare, "I deserved that" expression plastered on his bracket.
