10 Painful Wrestling Receipts Caught On Camera

5. JBL Finally Gets His Comeuppance

Shane McMahon
WWE

The greatest receipt ever delivered to JBL was, sadly, not captured on camera.

After years of terrorising greenhorns and non-wrestler personnel alike, because he was a piece of sh*t who got his kicks making people feel scared and hopeless, Joey Styles stood up to him following a tour of Iraq in 2008 and cleaned his f*cking clock. It's the perfect story because it proves everything you've ever been told about bullies to be true. Beyond the front, they're weak. They only project fake strength.

This shouldn't inspire you to go kick in the head of the person who torments you, just to make that explicitly clear. Don't let your use of the cry-laugh emoji fool you. Resume being afraid of your own shadow. The only thing you have in common with Joey Styles is your incessant cries of "Oh my God," only, you say it when violently molesting yourself over cartoon images.

The Stevie Richards chair shot somewhat makes up for it, mind.

When JBL infamously shot on the Blue Meanie at One Night Stand 2005, Richards per the "rumour and innuendo" was encouraged to smash JBL in the crown of his head with a chair rather than deal with the incident like an adult with a vested financial interest in himself.

On SmackDown, he opted for (worked) vigilante justice by delivering one of the most disgusting chair shots ever.
