10 People CM Punk Pissed Off Most In His WWE Career

2. Jeff Hardy

During summer 2009, CM Punk and Jeff Hardy engaged in an €œart imitates life€ feud where Punk used Hardy€™s lifestyle to propel himself into his first heel run in WWE. He claimed that he was better than Jeff because he was the Straight Edge superstar, while Hardy€™s demons prevented him from holding on to the World Heavyweight Championship. It was an epic transformation that showed that Punk could handle the microphone and hold fans in the palm of his hand. Ultimately, it proved to be Hardy€™s swansong with WWE, and Punk (in his DVD) gave Hardy credit for putting him over on his way out. After Hardy left WWE, he issued a clearly altered-state promo at a diner where he ranted for nearly two minutes about how Punk is disrespectful, looks down on others and he€™s cocky in and outside the ring. He closes with, €œF*** you, I made you the Straight Edge superstar you are.€ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6GcrIBhBWA Of all the people Punk likely p****d off during his WWE career, Hardy is probably one of the most personal, and one where there€™s visual evidence outside of WWE programming just how he feels. More recently, Hardy seems to have mellowed on his feelings toward Punk, but there€™s no denying that Punk wasn€™t on Jeff€™s Christmas card list a few years back.
