OK, so some out there will be laughing and saying things like: 'Of course we remember Michael Tarver. He was in Nexus'. He was, but people tend to think of Wade Barrett, Ryback, Heath Slater or Daniel Bryan's attack on Justin Roberts when they think of the group. Hell, fans would put future leader CM Punk and his minions like Michael McGillicutty ahead of Tarver.

Fellow originals Justin Gabriel and David Otunga also get more head space too.

Tarver is the forgotten man from the first Nexus lineup, but he was a founding member who actually seemed to have some potential early on. WWE handed Michael some promo time to do his thing, and it looked for all the world like he had the chance to become a breakout star once the faction splintered.

It wasn't to be. Tarver suffered an injury and was released shortly before his return to TV could be thrashed out; he did pop up in the background on Raw and SmackDown before being cut, but fans never learned what creative had in mind for him.
