10 PG Wrestling Feuds That Felt Like The Attitude Era
5. Randy Orton vs. Triple H
Since 2004, Randy Orton and Triple H have feuded a total of five times, but only one of those rivalries occurred during the PG Era. Oddly enough, however, their latest feud happened to be their best by far. On the road to WrestleMania 25, Orton targeted each of the McMahon family members, starting with the Chairman himself Mr. McMahon in January. After punting him in the skull and putting him in a hospital bed, Orton then unleashed his anger on the returning Shane, who lost two consecutive matchups against Orton and was also forcefully kicked in the head. Immediately afterward, Stephanie ate an RKO from The Viper for her efforts. Enter Triple H. Orton and HHH have never had greatest chemistry in the ring, but were the best of enemies every time they clashed. The latest incarnation of their unforgettable feud was something straight out of the Attitude Era in that you could feel the animosity between the two from your living room. The Game couldn't have cared less about retaining his title; his full focus, much like Stone Cold Steve Austin back in the day, was on exacting revenge, it made for a riveting rivalry that you couldn't wait to see reach its climax.
