10 Podcast Questions Stone Cold Steve Austin Must Ask Vince McMahon

2. The Legacy Of 'Macho Man' Randy Savage

After years of being ignored by WWE for reasons which still are being disputed, a rather disappointing DVD set was released in 2009 for the former WCW and WWE champion. This wasn't one of WWE's masterpieces as it was merely a collection of Randy's matches. Now, nearly four years after his untimely death, WWE are releasing a documentary entitled 'The Randy Savage Story'. The DVD focuses on the life and career of The Macho Man, chronicling the highs and lows of Randy's life and career. It shows that while he was extremely driven and highly successful, he was a complex person who also had his struggles over the years. Thankfully, Savage had found peace in his life after remarrying. This is just deserves for a man who was partially responsible for the rise of professional wrestling in pop culture. It's also fair to say he set the standard for reinventing a look and persona. When Savage passed away in 2011, it was clear WWE had missed the boat on having him involved in the production. Vince McMahon doesn't personally appear in the documentary and questions must be asked as to why? Sorry to bring this up, but did the rumours of him having relations with Vince's daughter Stephanie have some substance to them? Moreover, it would make for compelling viewing if Austin outright asked McMahon why Savage isn't in the WWE Hall of Fame. Rumours have began to circulate claiming he will be in this years edition with Sting but the question must be posed why he isn't in there already.
