10 Possible Winners Of WWE's Cruiserweight Classic

9. Drew Gulak

Drew Gulak may be a member of the new generation of grappling-obsessed professional wrestlers, but don't let his lack of knee-pads and hard-nosed aesthetic trick you; Gulak is a seriously charismatic professional wrestler. Anyone who is accepted into Chuck Taylor's Gentlemen's Club must be, after all.

Gulak qualified for the Classic by defeating Tracy Williams at Evolve 61 back in May, in a match that (for some reason) I expected him to lose. You aren't going to get a mass of high spots and top rope moves out of Gulak, but you are going to get limbs twisted and noses shattered.

And any opportunity we get to see Drew Gulak's Fire on the WWE Network is an opportunity I am going to lap up.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
