10 Potential Feuds For The Undertaker's Return

The Undertaker is a hell of a brand: in kayfabe, the name alone should send shivers down your spine and as fans, it's one that inspires serious excitement. Even over the course of his career, many other stars have put on better matches but no one has had the effect on the WWE Universe that the Deadman has.

So inevitably, it was hard not to get carried away when The Undertaker seemed to announce at SmackDown 900 that he was going to take a more active role in things going forward. Quite what that actually means remains to be seen: The Phenom might be turning up every week, or he could be taking on a reduced Brock Lesnar style schedule. Whatever the specifics, it seems we'll be seeing more of him in the months to come.

With 'Taker having already threatened the members of Team SmackDown if they failed to bring home the goods at Survivor Series it's clear that he needs someone to fight. Someone who fits the prestigious billing, who will put on a good match with him and who will sell brand Undertaker. It's not an easy ask.

Is there a more underrated man in WWE than Luke Harper? The big guy can do it all and he's capable of pulling off things in the ring that someone half his size would struggle with. The problem is that his role in the Wyatt Family has seen him become the fall guy - the man who bumps when Bray can’t.

If Harper was to break away from Wyatt - and properly this time - that would obviously all change, and facing off with 'Taker would be the perfect push. Few men’s stamp of approval means more than that of The Deadman and even just stepping foot in the ring with him can do wonders for his career.

Luke Harper might not seem like the most exciting choice for an Undertaker feud, but if the Phenom is gearing up for his last run in the company, it might be the right one. He’s a young and talented star who needs someone to give him a chance and Undertaker could be that someone.
