Whilst these two may not be anyone's first choice for the first ever Women's Tag Team Champions, it actually makes more sense than you think.

Mickie James and Alicia Fox have been around for a long, long time in the world of professional wrestling. James first debuted for WWE in 2005 and has worked for promotions across North America, racking up titles along the way. As for Foxy, well she's actually WWE's longest tenured female performer, having started with the company way back in 2008.

Fox and James could play the role of two veterans proving their worth among the new era. With careful booking, their story could be a very interesting one and a championship win might even make babyfaces out of these two current heels.
