Should Roman simply defeat Undertaker clean and walk away, there's a very real possibility that the fans could hijack WrestleMania.
Last year's main event was horribly booed and heckled by much of the live audience, so much so that WWE reportedly tampered with sound levels on the Network broadcast. Should Reigns scoop another unpopular victory - and do so midway through such a gruelling show - the results could be ugly.
In all likelihood, this is the more probably of the two outcomes. Roman turning heel may seem to make more sense, but we're forgetting to take WWE's legendary stubbornness into account. Reigns is Vince's homemade hero, and he's determined for fans to accept him - whether they like it at first or not.
WrestleMania 33 could well be the scene where this all comes crashing down, if the reaction is negative enough...
