10 Precise Moments When WWE PG Era Careers Ended

7. Sin Cara

This entry is about the Sin Cara character generally, not just Mistico. His original run under the mask was an absolute disaster - it was so bad that WWE chiefs decided to replace Mistico with the artist formerly known as Hunico full-time in 2013, and they never looked back.

Cara 2.0 did have some success as part of a high-flying tandem with Kalisto (Lucha Dragons represent, baby), but they were never going to be WWE's favourite tag-team. So, Sin Cara dipped in and out of relevancy before being positively smashed by one Drew McIntyre in just four minutes on the 11 November 2019 Raw.

Reports had started to surface online that Cara was disillusioned with WWE life and wanted out of his contract. Management didn't stand in his way, and granted the masked man his walking papers on 8 December.

If you check out the Drew match, look out for a thumping powerbomb outside the ring. That had to hurt.
