10 Most Predictable Royal Rumbles Ever

5. Stone Cold Steve Austin, 1998

The 1998 Royal Rumble wasn't very good. The WWF was yet to really catch fire but the presence of Mike Tyson, watching the show from a sky boy, certainly gave the audience a look at what was to come. Throughout the show in the run up to the match there were several backstage segments where the undercard wrestlers sought out Austin, because they knew he was the favourite and wanted to take him out before he got to the ring (that and he had managed to infuriate most of the roster with his hell-raising antics). So Austin entered at number twenty four with everyone in the ring stopping what they were doing when his music hit. Austin surprised everyone by coming through the crowd and eliminating a couple of nobodies. Doubts were cast when IC Champ The Rock and Austin were the final two but Austin made quick work of Rocky to win his second consecutive Rumble. Any decision other than Austin winning the 1998 Rumble would have been a stupid one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBMOcu8p_xs
