10 Predicted End Dates For WWE’s Big Pushes

7. Dolph Ziggler

Winter Bray Wyatt
WWE

It's quite easy to determine when Dolph Ziggler's push will end. In fact, it's about as hard as Jerry Lawler when he sees a woman over the age of 22.

The Show-Off has returned, for a one-off programme opposite Kofi Kingston at Super Show-Down, as a result of Kevin Owens' refusal to perform in Saudi Arabia. And it's a shame this was all enforced, and that a very specific nostalgia exercise will take to the ring in a country less inclined to receive a sleeper hit of a pure wrestling match. There's an intriguing history to exploit.

Kofi and Dolph used to wrestle each other relentlessly in an energetic if futile series management treated not as a proving ground showcase, but midcard filler. Years later, Kofi did in fact ascend, receiving the same reaction his fellow tireless workhorse might have, in an alternate time line not at all dissimilar to this.

Any shades of The Miz Vs. Dolph Ziggler - a great, great programme enhanced by an acknowledgement of Ziggler's unrealised potential - will not materialise on the night. The stench of those shows on this side of the globe inhibits that emotion, that sentiment.

Predicted End Date: Friday, 7 June, 2019
