There's little doubt that Vince McMahon has always favoured the 'entertainment' aspect of sports entertainment. But Hunter is different, owing to the fact that he's spent so many years competing, he prefers the in-ring competition aspect of WWE. You can see that in his vision for NXT. Meltzer is correct that bodybuilders are Hunter's look preference, but he absolutely wants to have a foundation of in-ring work. It isn't going to be enough for some jacked up guy to just go through the traditional motions. Hunter's guys are going to be more like Cesaro, a guy who lifts heavy and is in great physical shape, in addition to being a stellar ring worker. As part of that desire for 'sport', Hunter is going to be more relaxed than Vince in terms of looking for talent from a broad range of sources. That's why NXT has featured guys from indies, Japan, bodybuilding, football and many other athletic vocations.
