Vince McMahon is the WWE. He knows his company inside out, and has been the one great consistency in its history. When he retires, it will be the biggest change ever to happen to WWE, causing a wave of uncertainty that could send the stock price tumbling. The loss of investor confidence could even last for quite some time, with an air of wariness around WWE's ability to function without their legendary leader. The big concern is replacing McMahon as Chairman and CEO. How can you possibly find someone who has that same level of wrestling industry acumen and corporate business experience? Triple H knows his wrestling, but he's hardly a top level businessman. The same is true of Stephanie McMahon, she's experienced in the WWE, but there's question marks over her ability to go forward as the leader of the company. Yet, bringing in an outside candidate would be tricky. Pro wrestling is a unique product and industry. It is a quandary that WWE look ill prepared to face, as there really isn't another Vince McMahon out there.
