That joke isn't funny anymore.

Worse still, we are good year on from the joke being funny and even longer from the first time it was ever told back when Jinder Mahal and R-Truth could do monster YouTube numbers for title switches on planes and golf carts.

WWE seem to think it's a Stewart Lee routine - keep telling the joke, keep telling the joke, barely tweak the joke, keep telling the joke, keep telling the joke, and every iteration of it will be more hilarious than the last. Difference being that Lee is slavishly dedicated to the craft of his idiosyncratic art, and the poor defenseless scrubs answering to Vince McMahon only have the energy to write "more Keystone Cops bullsh*t?" on the script once a week.

R-Truth was fine before and will be fine after, if that's your worry. That's what performers who know how to get over do. He's the constant for a reason, but that reason should no longer be the thing he feigns pride for.
