10 Predictions To Bring WWE Raw Back From The Brink

2. Drew McIntyre's Dominance Is Restored

Drew McIntyre bringing the countdown back before his Claymore was a flashback to a better world.

Back then, it only took a sleazy lean on the guardrail and throwing his fingers up in the air to get the fans on board with the former 'Scottish Psychopath' in one night. At his size and with his presence, it was surely this that convinced Vince McMahon to go all the way with him from January 2020.

If the world looks better in 2021, he should do the same again.

McIntyre's run was perhaps best judged in contrast to Braun Strowman's on the other show. Both burly bearded babyfaces doing burly bearded babyface things, but one seemed to keep the train on the tracks while the other - let's call it the Strowman Express - derailed all the f*cking time. McIntyre's circumstances are unique. A win, a WrestleMania moment, a first defence, whatever, they'll all feel extra special second time around if the people are there to share it with him.

With the buildings never quieter, WWE might have actually created a proper main eventer. He warrants the real litmus test the second rules allow.
