10 Pro Wrestlers Who Could Have Been Stars In The UFC
5. Vladimir Kozlov
Kozlov had an interesting WWE career that saw him go from a world title contender to a comedy act. However, the 6'8" Ukrainian's martial arts background is anything but a joke.
The three-hundred pounder is a former US Open Heavyweight Sambo Champion who also has a kickboxing background. We've seen heavyweights with Sambo pedigrees like Fedor Emelianenko and former UFC champ Andrei Arlovski do big things inside the cage.
His size alone would make him marketable and, in his prime, the now 40-year-old was an impressive athlete. He would have needed to shed a few pounds to make the UFC heavyweight limit (265), but had the big man trained MMA full-time he could have been very formidable.
