10 Problems Only Wrestling Fans Would Understand

It's still real to me dammit!

Wrestling fandom in 2014 has proved to be as much of a story as the in-ring WWE product. It was the loud unified chants of "YES" which directly derailed the planned WrestleMania 30 main event. It was the unified legions of internet fans who created a CM Punk phenomenon which stalked WWE as the elephant in the room. Loud voices and engagement with the internet has led to fans being more involved with the WWE than ever before, the company having to accept that the relationship between their audience and the show has been completely redefined. The age of kayfabe is over, with fans now enjoying the real 'backstage' dramas as much as the scripted on-screen drama. However, despite our improved status and power within WWE, we are still a fanbase beset by problems! Financially, socially, time-wise, being a WWE fan can be a labour of love. We have to be passionate about our interest in WWE, because if we weren't, we would have probably gave up on it entirely by now! This is a television drama which is at its best the most entertaining show in all of the TV Guide, at its worst the most embarrassing and moronic broadcast ever witnessed by man. Yet we can't resist coming back for more; always waiting on that next great wrestling moment. It's worth it. Pro wrestling sells out thousands of seats in arenas four nights a week, it has a regular weekly viewership which has been consistent for over a decade. Other entertainment entities would kill for committed fans like us.... and yet WWE all the time force problems upon us!
Here's 10 problems only fellow wrestling fans would understand, the things we put ourselves through in supporting the WWE!
