Being a WWE fan isn't cheap. The most extortionate aspect of following WWE was traditionally their pay per view business model. You'd get emotionally invested in a top WWE feud, to then be compelled to put down over $40 to see the actual match. This would happen each month and more often than not we'd buy. All that has changed with the advent of the WWE Network, although that is still a dent in the wallet to the tune of $120 a year. You then have at least a few WWE DVDs each year you'll want to buy (the forthcoming Heyman DVD being one), a couple of books perhaps (Rock has a new book out this year), perhaps a couple of merchandise purchases... it quickly mounts up. You're then looking at easily over a hundred dollars for everything that is involved in attending a local house show. If you're a serious fan and flying out to Mania, at that point we are talking upward of a thousand dollars into your WWE passion. Then there's all the other miscellaneous costs such as subscribing to wrestling sites or buying magazines. If you're tight in the wallet, WWE really isn't the interest for you.
