If you are part of the internet wrestling community you'll be well aware of just how brutal it can be out there. Whereas other fan groups stick together, wrestling fans are prone to turning on each other, creating intensely hot arguments over what is basically a scripted performance art. This has became even more of a problem since the explosion of Twitter. Now everyone has got a chance to say whatever they like while hiding behind their keyboard and monitor. If you tweet an opinion or take part in any kind of forum discussion, ready yourself for the barrage of abuse that will come with it. Your fellow fans will be just waiting to rip you down. Quite why 'trolls' feel the need to act with such hostility, over what is essentially such a light hearted entertainment hobby, is kind of funny when you think about it. As is the case with all trolls, they only have a voice if you respond to them, they're best ignored. Then there's a whole different kind of WWE fan who will make your internet wrestling fandom an eye roller. Certain marks have nothing nasty about them, but their unhinged obsession with WWE or specific performers can be quite the annoyance. We just aren't the most cohesive fan base, which given that WWE is a conflict based interest, is maybe fitting.
