10 Problems WWE Doesn't Want To Admit About Hell In A Cell

5. Why Is There A Door?

This is a far simpler gripe, and a contradiction at the very heart of Hell in a Cell - why on earth does it have a door!? The very point of the Cell gimmick is to contain a blood feud within its walls, forcing the two men inside to keep going until one is utterly broken. This was immediately flaunted in the first ever Cell match, an admittedly great moment as a debuting Kane ripped it off its hinges. As the Cell is lowered from the ceiling, surely it makes sense to forego a door entirely - especially these days, when there's far less call for superstars to brawl around (and on top of) the structure. If a match absolutely needs to be taken outside of the Cell - which should be a rarity - have a particularly powerful superstar tackle another through the wall, or a sneaky heel tunnel through a pre-weakened panel.
