10 Problems WWE Has With Modern WrestleManias

2. Too Many Superstars

Like many of the points on this list, this one goes hand in hand with the insurmountable length of recent WrestleManias. One of the biggest arguments for a seven hour Mania is that it gives more Superstars an opportunity to appear on the card. In years prior, feuds may have been left of the show and settled at a secondary PPV or on RAW or Smackdown instead.

But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. If a feud isn’t WrestleMania-worthy, then it shouldn’t be on the show - nor should it be combined with another three feuds just to facilitate a multi-man ladder match or tag team scramble. Saving otherwise solid matches and rivalries for weekly TV would improve the quality of WWE’s A and B shows, and would allow for a shorter, less bloated 'Mania card.

There simply will never be enough room at WrestleMania to give everyone a fair shake, and while there might currently be too many Superstars for that specific event, rosters are only going to grow larger as WWE tries to fill large talent gaps on both RAW and Smackdown. The problem isn't going to go away.

Adding on extra baggage to the show won't make it any better.
